On Monday, May 3rd, the Small Business Administration has started accepting applications for its Restaurant Relief Fund (RRF). The $28.6 billion RRF provides funding to help restaurants and other food and drink businesses for revenues lost during the COVID-19 pandemic. Your tenants may be eligible to apply for the RRF and rent is an allowable use of funds. While we are not experts and can’t answer specifics related to the RRF, we encourage all Borrowers and tenants to visit the SBA website and determine if their company is eligible.
