Matt Schalmo

Matt joined Chase Properties in October 2018. His responsibilities include fund accounting and investor reporting across the firm’s fund families, distribution processing, and credit underwriting of prospective tenants and guarantors. Prior to joining Chase Properties, Matt spent over five years at Cohen and Company in public accounting, where he managed day-to-day client contact and reviewed tax returns. He received his undergraduate degree in accounting from Kent State University and his Master of Taxation from The University of Akron. In his free time, Matt enjoys fly fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with his wife and son.
